Hi does anyone know how to keep the car picture on when starting car up, I have to keep pressing vehicle status for it to come on as it always goes to consumption or something. I like the car pic but annoying when I have to keep changing it ?

Can you provide a few more details about the vehicle so that someone can help?

i.e. which model/trim and what year was it manufactured or registered?

Also, which screen? The infotainment (one above the heating controls) or the Multi-Function Display/Digital Dashboard (one in the instrument cluster)?

@Tracey335 on the FL Leon, my screen remains on whatever was last viewed when the ignition was switched off previously. I have also tried it with both keys - on some models, the settings are mated to the key that is used, rather than what was on the screen during the previous use.

The only time it would switch from the vehicle status screen would be if there was a fault logged or I connected a phone via CarPlay etc.

If yours isn’t behaving like this, some things that you can try are:

i) Soft reset - press and hold the power button for 30 seconds; release the power button when the device reboots and you get logo screen appear.
ii) It might be worth mentioning it at the dealers (if still under warranty) or during the next service in case there is a firmware update required for the module.
iii) Might also be worth posting a pic of the screen that you want and what you are getting in case I’ve made an incorrect assumption of what you are trying to view.
