Just uploaded the new ST Cupra pictures and noticed an updated version of the MFD with Mirror link showing: https://www.flickr.com/photos/117264142@N04/16485495835/in/photostream/
Think this will have been asked before but any way to update the software?

From experience in car TV tuners tend to suffer from poor reception , especially digital units. For that price I would doubt the quality will be great. The only good ones I've seen are oem tuners which usually have various antenna throughout the vehicle combined with amplifiers to obtain a decent picture. I'm going to fit a single din size dvd player under the passenger seat.
having tried a android box on the headunit the resolution is so low that it is nearly impossible to display a usable picture , i think the video in feature is best suited to a dvb-t2 tuner or media player box etc.
one of these would do but not sure how you would get a decent signal , wonder if you could tap into the dab aerial ? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Mini-HD-D...539?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item19fa491393
There's a listing on ebay advertising VIM for MK3 Leon for £80. In Coventry.

I've just installed a din size dvd player under the passenger seat and connected it via the av cable. Dvd player cost £15 new and cable was only £10. Works fine although I have a slight amount of interference through the speakers when the engine is running. Going to try rerouting the rca leads as they are currently run with the power leads. Took the power source from the cigarette lighter fuse after moving it up a position so it is constantly live. Interestingly it would appear that the permanent live goes to to sleep after a while as the dvd player remembers the last position ok unless left for a few hours .
for just player movies i would not bother with dvd really as most movies you can download anyway
a usb media player would have done the job.
i have one of these coming

bought it for £40 so £50 to have tv installed, what i like about it is it has a usb slot too to play media , just wondering where is the best place to mount it , had a quick look behind the glove box but does not look like much space is there
Dvd player suits my needs hence why I went for it. From experience of previous digital TV tuners at ten times the price of the one you have quoted the reception is not great and not worth the hassle of trying to install aerials .
