The Leon allegedly doesn't come with a service book and these are all stored electronically on the onboard computer.

Is there a way to view these? I've been through pretty much every option on the incar display and cannot find anything.

No, they are stored online, you have to ask dealership to print it out for you. When I had yearly service done recently they printed this for my records without me asking.
That's so frustrating, taking it that's a bit of protectionism to stop 3rd parties servicing the vehicles. Call me old fashioned but I like a book and would like one when purchasing a used car also.

@andycalvia; some independent 3rd party VW specialist garages do have access to VW’s online system to update a car’s digital servicing and repair history when they’ve carried out work on the vehicle. I’m assuming the same also applies to independent Seat specialist garages too.

I always keep all receipts for work carried out on my car for the benefit of the next owner if I sell it privately or the dealer if I part ex my car against another, as it’s evidence it’s been well cared for.

When changed my car (this year) and my wife's i10 (2 years ago) the dealer wouldn't take the service invoices due to GDPR restrictions as the service details are stored digitally by the OEM.

When I part-exchanged my Octavia vRS for my current Leon FR at a Seat/Skoda dealer I handed over every receipt to the salesman.

As I got into my FR I saw him rip them in half & dump them in his waste paper bin. There would have been no breach of data protection laws as I had cut my name & address out of all the documents.

My 2018 Leon FR does have a service book.

I also remove name and address details as I get a little paranoid over the potential risk of identity theft.

You can look at your electronic service book with help of Erwin. The car must not be to old but in my case we have cars from 2018 (VW/Seat/Skoda) and it works.

First you must register. Than you can go to Digital service schedule. I get it on Swedish because I’m situated in SE. I suppose you will have it on English.

Search via VIN number. Se pics below.

https://erwin.seat.com/erwin/ or https://erwin.seat.com/erwin/showHome.do

Look at “Volkswizard” when he uses it on VWs Erwin page as an independent workshop.

Follow the pics in order:

I've tried the above and registered. However when I select "Products and Services" there is nothing related to servicing for me to select -
