Does anyone know exactly when the virtual cockpit (as available for the Audi A3 & VW Golf) will be available as an option for the SEAT Leon? I'm looking for a definite & accurate answer, rather than the vague & unsubstantiated references which have appeared from time to time in the motoring press & even in some of SEAT's own press releases, around the time of, & associated with the launch of the recent facelift at the end of 2016.

It would also be interesting to have similar accurate information about the introduction date of the new 1.5 litre petrol engine & whether there are any plans to replace the 1.8 litre petrol engine with the VW/Audi 2.0 litre petrol engine.

It would also help if anyone here has answers to these questions, if they could clarify the source of their information.

It really is extremely frustrating how SEAT seems to have a tendency to keep potential customers in the dark about technical changes until the last minute!

I need this information to decide if I replace my current 4 year old Leon with another Leon, or go for an alternative car this time.

If it's not in press releases or seat information I doubt it'll be "definite and accurate" coming from anywhere else. Active info end of this year, probably the same with the 1.5, word on the street is no more 1.8, not sure about 2.0tsi. How's that for accurate ;)
