VW in Dash 6 cd changer

Hi Guys,

I particularly wanted a SEAT branded CD changer to mount under my Alana HU but cannot find one anywhere!!

there are, however, plenty of VW ones on ebay but apparently some of them light up blue aswell as red!!!

now I definitely need a red one so is there anyway of telling by the part number as a lot of these units are being sold from broken cars and I doubt the breakers took much notice of the illumination colour when removing!!

Just fitted a vw changer and it lights up red. I think only the head unit lights up blue all the changers I've seen are red.

Yeh the buttons for the mk4's are all red, just the screen in the radio that lights up a bluey colour same as the dials etc.

my cupra r 2003 lights up red (in glove box ) and think audi tt doe's aswell .cupra cd player is in glove box and tt cd player is behind nsr wing inner plastic (inside car pull lower seat out and pull trim out of way 3 bolts and unplug . wire goes in loom )
