Warning Light - Right Side Turn Signal

Hi all.

I'm stumped with an issue that has appeared on my SEAT leon. I have tried searching online without success so now hoping someone with more expertise can help me out.

The warning light on my car recently came on advising to check the right side turn signal. Having checked the signal this is working absolutely fine. I'm just wondering how to turn this warning light off?

I've had the car for 5 years and never had an issue with this prior so any pointers would be welcomed. Images provided.

Thanks in advance all.

As bulbs start to fail the can have a high resistance making the system think there is a fault, try changing the bulb and see if it clears?

I'd pull the connectors on and off a few times. The contacts could be tarnishing putting resistance up.

I've had this for a few years. In between I had to have the right headlight completely replaced last year. But this message remains, usually when its hot weather I will always get this message upon first starting the car.

I will try the right indicator and it won't work on the right mirror. But then after a minute or so, it will begin to work. Then if I turn the car off and restart, the message will no longer appear. I'm wondering what to do to solve this issue though, since it's been there for a few years now.

Does anyone know what I need to change as I'm clueless with this stuff, I've had this for a few years now, used it only happen in hot weather but happening every day now. It's the mirror light which starts working usually after around 5 minutes and then the message goes away if the car is started up again

It may have been affected by water in the mirror housing, if it was me I would get some Dynamic Indicator Lights for the door miirors, they are much better than the standard lights IMO.

How would I do that? Considering I know nothing, do I need to take it to someone?
Yes. If you can't work on your own car you'll need to take it to an auto electrician. I'd look for a VW group independent specialist as dealers are often not very good at fault finding.

Problem is by the time I get there the fault will likely not be showing - usually lasts 10-15 minutes then the light starts to work :cautious:
