What engine oil for cupra 300 4 drive

Afternoon everyone quick question what engine oil is used in my Leon cupra 300 4 drive I have seen loads of different ones but been told got to be VW oil?

Should be 0W/30 but a sticker at the front of the car (after bonnet is opened) will tell you the VW code the oil has to be too.

Just went to seat they gave me Castrol 5w30 seat approved with the unique number on

I allways use vw 504.00 5w-30 Castrol LL in the Cupra R.
The same for our VW Alltrack and Skoda Fabia 3 cylinder .

I think that what I got mate, but wow don’t these cupra use some oil, half litre in just under thousand miles

I have one Cupra R Leon 310 2018, my son have Cupra St 300 2019. We don't need to add any oil before next oil change. I change every 5000 miles/7500 km. Rather often... perhaps the dipstick level have used a couple of milimeter at the change occasion.

Ps if you use it for a "track day" the consumption will increase.

Not using it for track day, I will see how it goes just had very good friend of mine who has a cupra R just reply back to me and said seems about right them using that much

Just noticed you have posted in the wrong Forum, as you have a SEAT Leon Cupra 300, not a Cupra Leon 300 which is why I said 0W/30 oil like my car uses.
