Hi all I'm still new to this site and I'm searching for answers if any one can help I'd very much appreciate it.

I have a 03 LCR AMK what's done 117k and still goes strong, since purchasing the car 3 months ago I have currently bought and fitted a 008 forge BOV, HID convertion kit, boost gauge and pillar pod, air filter. Im looking to further the mods and can only think of TIP, FMIC, and exhaust system.

I'm looking to get a cobra cat back non resonated system and then a set of coilovers, I know there's remaps available but with a engine with my mileage would it be ok to remap it? If so to what stage once I have the TIP and cat back? It has full Service history apart from the latest which is due now :/

Any information you guys can give or help me with I'd much appreciate it

Thanks

Well I believe that it holds the fuel at 4 bar in the fuel rail so that when the injector opens its delivered faster so intern makes the mixture better so it runs better so intern more bhp. But that what I'm led to believe.

Needs to be mapped to run a 4bar FPR.

TIP next..and if you haven't already...Air filter.

Hi what about a 4 bar fpr. Gud little mod improves take off and any little flat spots u may seen to have. PM if u want 1.

Thanks for the input I appreciate it, I read that a 4bar FPR would be required for a stage 3 but at the moment I haven't got any remap on the car but what I would like to know is wether my engine having 117k would handle a the remap/extra torque?

This is what I found so far:

Stage2:
Base Engine: 1.8 T - 210 & 225 BHP
Performance upgrade by ECU reprogramming (engine control unit remapping)
Forge upgraded dump valve
Performance air filter
Exhaust system from catalyst back

Stage3:

Base Engine: 1.8 T - 210 & 225 BHP
Performance upgrade by ECU reprogramming (engine control unit remapping)
4 bar Fuel preassure regulator
Forge upgraded dump valve
Forge TIP pipe
Performance air filter
Exhaust system from turbo back with hi flow sports cat

Would there be any other mods what I could get in the mean time to improve other bits if needed or even to just tidy the car up that extra bit?

Stage 2 needs a turbo back system...and is recommended that a FMIC is used.

I wouldn't worry about about the motor...its the clutch.

I mapped my volvo v70R with 170k.....!!

Brill il save the penny's to purchase one, I tryed a pipercross cone filter once and it drank quater of a tank of juice only going 18 miles!! Will this do the same thing or would that be because it hasn't been mapped and it's just taking more air ? I've got my panel filter back on now to consume more fuel lol

Not always lol I didn't actualy have my forge bov on I had a atmospheric baileys one what was throwing a fault code but now I've got the forge one, I've removed the bonnet soundproofing also so heat isn't insulated as much :) I guess if I want power I can't always have economical fuel lol
