I try and get bits done when i can. I bought the car in late february, when we were still laughing at the Yanks and Aussies for panic buying toilet rolls (if only we knew what was coming eh?).
Just doing bits and bobs to it to make it perfect again.
Had a MK1 Escort that i was doing up. Was a nice car but pannic sold it a week before lockdown. Lost my shirt on it but got a bit in the bank now if my job goes belly up in the near future.

Yeah. We've just started using the crappy stuff I bought the first time I saw some in Tesco. Didn't need it, but after about a month of never seeing any, thought i'd better grab a pack.
JEEZ, it's worse than the stuff we use at work that comes in a roll about eight inches in diameter!
I'd take it to work to use instead of the blue roll we have in the welding bays but I've been furloughed for three weeks. Perfect timing for the first two grand prix!
I feel your pain for getting rid of the Escort. Think you went a bit batshit selling it though!
Should have hung on until you HAD to sell it!
I have a 1961 Series 2 Land Rover that isn't going anywhere fast. Had a guy knock on the door on sunday asking if it's for sale. Told him no. AND the same for the Defender sat on the trailer. AND for the XR4i too
The guy asked "What year is the Defender?"
I told him it's a 1990 on a Q plate.
"Oh, a bit iffy is it?"
Told him NO, it's much modified. Conversation stopped at that point before i chinned him!
I'll be servicing the
Ibiza then taking it for an MOT this week. Have to stick two new front anti rollbar drop links on and change the driver's side dipped and sidelight bulb.
I think given the(lack of) accessto the back of that lamp i'll change them all given that the sidelight was out before the last MOT and my mate who tested it who would normally have popped a bulb in decided he'd ignore it...
Couldn't really turn a blind eye when this time I had two side lights and a dipped beam out.
