what resister do you use to fool the air bag ecu

What resister have people used in the connecting block under the seat to fool the ecu into thinking the seat air bags working. Is it a 5ohm resister and what colour cables do you connect together. Thanks

You don't. Find someone with vagcom and get them to switch it off for you

VW Part no: 1H0998521B listed for left side but works on both sides.

Cheers for the replys, I've got someone with vag com to deactivate it for me on Monday. Fed up with no car now want boost back
