Where to put my cd changer? Please don't be rude...

Hi all,
Having giving up on the idea of retro-fitting a cd changer in the armrest of my '06 Altea Stylance (too costly, quoted £305 by a stealer) I now have a regular Sony 6-cd changer and all cables that go with it. Winston The Weimaraner is the Lord of the Boot and I would be reluctant to chance putting the changer there. I only have regular brackets to attach it, and am not too sure about where to put it (please no rude comment ). Glove box? On the base of the back bench? In the front passenger foot well? Rear foot well? Compartment inside front door?

CD changer location

I retro fitted mine in the arm rest. I have a 6 disc sony in there.

If you take out the whole centre console, you can take out the cupboard under the arm rest. Mines held in with a few of the bolts in holes i drilled. Only took a few hours to take out and put back in.
