these boys who are running 300+ are they one big turbo or a twin turbo idea like the bmw 335/535d ? as i can imagine alot of lag with one massive turbo ?

Don't think anyone is running sequential turbos although there nay be a polo that is.
I'm not running 300bhp in my Ibiza but I'm told my turbo is capable of it and it's making boost earlier than my old hybrid. And holds it longer too.
I don't kno of many cars running over 300 that don't either have nitrous, propane or both

Anyone found a supplier of water/meth kit for the tdi's? Looked on devilsown there and seems since they are an American company they dont do the Seat's and VW kits are for 1.8t and 2.0t

Any UK based companies out there?

The way to go with the 170 fr is:

DPF removal
Panel filter or better flowing air filter
Larger bore exhaust system
Hybrid turbo
Custom remap
Bigger injector nozzels depending on what sort of power your after and money you wanna spend.

Same for the 140 really apart from it has no DPF to start with, both are fitted with a full FMIC, large intake piping and similiar exhaust systems.

Funny! All this for a Leon, with £1000's spent!

Wouldn't it be better to throw all that effort and money into a proper performance car?
You might have all that packed under your bonnet, but on the outside (what people see), you are still only driving a SEAT Leon? ;)

What would you suggest is a better performance option then for the money?

Yeh you cant hear anything at all when the clutch is pressed down, or when driving. When you release it you can hear it inside but only if theres no other noise like radio etc.

Outside its quite loud but ive noticed that its dependant on gearbox oil temp/engine temp, as when its cold its bearable. Once its warmed up it gets alot louder. But how often do you let it run and stand outside it. Just something you get used to when letting it cool down anyway.

Leon_MHX - slightly off topic, but what kind of MPG do you get with those mods? (and also driving reasonably sensibly!)

I am thinking about the hybrid route but if the fuel economy is hit massively I'd rather sell up and buy a petrol (which I can't afford due to mileage).
