Hi,

Ordered mine this morning too!
Cupra 280 manual, 5 door
Phantom black

From south east, 12-14 weeks. They said something about the factory shuts down for a month in August?! Not sure if true but better than no car :)

FINALLY got round to putting my order in today, and I'm getting impatient already...!

Cupra 280 5 door
Nevada white
Manual
Black/grey bucket seats
Side skirts
Sunroof
SEAT sound system & space saver

Should get to the dealership at around the time I get back from 4 months overseas with work, so perfect timing really :)

Cupra order

Hi guys,

Long term forum member with an ibiza Cupra since 2011 and then ordered a leon cupra back in March. I ordered with motorvogue in Northampton (bad reviews all round) but the dealer effectively gave me nearly 4k off and threw in a few extras which was hard to say no.

I've ordered a 3dr 280 dsg in Nevada White with (pretty much everything except leather):
Sunroof
ACC
Safety/Driver/Winter packs
Spare wheel
Seat sound

The car was built last week and hopefully should be with me within a few weeks.

Question for the more knowledgeable, will it come with the 280 badge? :D

Previous cars include the Scirocco diesel/scirocco r/ibiza Cupra.

Awesome!

What checklists do you lot use when picking up a new car?

So annoying, even the Skoda Octavia has a keyless option now. I know most people say they don't care about it, but I do and its the only thing missing on my wishlist.
This option from past experience is problematic, when water gets in-between the door cards it can sometime mess with the sensors.

It's on a lot of cars, missed the boat having it has an option IMO

Would be interested to know what dealers are currently quoting for delivery times on Cupras. I ordered mine at the end of April, a Monsoon Grey 280 5dr Manual through on a personal lease (very good deal indeed, was originally looking at 1.8FR but Cupra was only £2 a month more....). After initially being told the car would be built at the end of May and delivered in July I was happy enough, then this turned into 'Build Week 32' (I worked this out to be early August before hearing factory shuts that month so not sure what that equates to).
Getting a bit cheesed off with ever changing stories I called the supplying dealer who have been great, they cheerfully informed me my car was in for Build Week 40 (late September) so with me by late October/early November. I briefly considered binning the whole thing and heading for a Golf R (very tempting lease deals at the moment if you are ok with standard spec and low annual miles) but the dealer called me back to say they could get me in to an identical Ice Silver Cupra in a couple of weeks, so that's where I'm headed, delivery should be mid July. Not my first choice colour but another 4 months for Grey wasn't an option for me.
