any idea why Seat do not offer upgrade to LED?
standard lights, especially on FR trim, looks like mix of dogs poo and cats vomits
whoever is thinking of buying Seat Ibiza FR, do yourself a favour and buy it with full LED otherwise you will be stuck for 3 years with car that is just pathetic. I just feel sick everytime i look at this joke of a car. First and the last Seat in my live.

Really don’t see what’s wrong with them tbh. LEDs are nice but not £500 nice for me. Rather spend on different options

In terms of how the car looks, how much is the difference between "LED Daytime Running Lights + LED taillights" and "full LED"?

LED headlights are brilliant (literally). But they are a pricey option.
Still, if you're going to replace the headlight bulbs with high power ones that only last a year or so that will soon mount up cost wise too.

Zoom, they look excellent and driving at night is so different.

For the "LED Daytime Running Lights" I was under the impression that it was the whole perimeter of the lights in LED, and that "full LED" also had LED in the center. But it seems that those LED lights that go around the whole perimeter are part of the "full LED" option, and that "LED Daytime Running Lights" are just in the upper corner, and not the whole perimeter. Is that right?

OK, its a bit disappointing since I liked the LED daylights that go around the perimeter and I believe are also used as indicators blinking in orange. I thought I was getting those with the "LED Daytime Running Lights" but apparently not :(

My car is supposed to be build in the last week of June. Do you think there is any chance of adding that option now, or is it too late? That said, that option is €650 so I am not sure I would add it even if I could.

This thread is another good example of why knowing where in the world each poster is helps...

In the UK full LED headlights are an option on all Ibiza trim levels (and become standard on FR, FR Sport, XCELLENCE and XCELLENCE Lux from MY19) whereas they don't appear to be available at all wherever dasBOT is (which has clearly ruined his life).

Has the UK Ibiza spec changed? I thought LED headlights were optional on all trim levels. Isn't that the Arona you're describing?

Some forums, and maybe even this one at one point, I've forgotten, had your location and car(s) owned on your "details" tab on the LHS of the postings, that can be very helpful and avoid confusion?

Zoom, I feel sorry for you, but I can't believe that, after all your extensive research, you still didn't order the exact car you want.

It seems like the OP too was surprised by the car being different from what they expected.

Some people are just never happy. I also thought in the end he wasn't even going to order a SEAT and go for the Kia?

Well, all the photos I've seen where I noticed LED daytime lights being on where with what I now understand is the full LED option, and at the dealership while looking at the car from the outside the car was always off, so there was nothing that would make it obvious to me that the assumption I made was wrong. What I was buying was "LED Daytime Running Lights" and what I was seeing in those pictures where "LED Daytime Running Lights". I didn't know that they were different "LED Daytime Running Lights" that come only with the Full LED option.

I myself would usually play around with the configurator to see whats inc and what's not...myself I paid £480 for the bi-xenons in the previous Ibiza, didn't regret it one bit!
