Window issue

Hi
The switches on the drivers door that operate the front windows seem to have gone "floppy" and will not lower the windows. They do however seem to click and engage the motor to close the windows. The switch on the passenger door still works and the passenger window will open and close so it appears it would just be the switch on the drivers side. Has anyone had this issue before or know how i get into the door cards to investigate?
