Wing mirror not folding (passenger mk2 2012)

Hey,

So this morning it was quite frosty and when coming to switching my car on the driver side mirror unfolded fine but the passenger side stayed in place. I was rushing so just pulled it into position.

The passenger side no longer folds, but you can hear the motor working/ when using the fold function. I folded it all the way up then pressed the fold button and it moved about 15% of the way.

It’s a 2012 Leon 1.6 COPA economitive diesel.

Would appreciate any advice or ideas !

I had the issue where mine would go up but one didn't always come down mainly because of the weather. What I did was put it into the up position and it makes a gap for you to blast some Wd40 or grease up it, forced it back down and did a few folds to get it moving around.
