Just popped into Halfords on way home form work to grab some new front wiper blades. Looking through the book for the right fitment and all they list is one for the rear, so I ask the chap at the parts counter, he finds them on his system - £50!! - I left without them....

I went to them not so long ago and found the same...ridiculous! I bought my wipers from Seat at £17 each and they are better than some of the other rubbish i've had on the car. No squeaky noise to be heard! :D

I've been using www.wiperblades.co.uk for a couple of years now, very good prices and next day deliverly. I can highly recommend.

Just checked and their prices seem decent for a front twin pack on the Leon...

Own Brand = £17.60 (+ £2.65 P&P)
Champion = £27.46 (+ £2.65 P&P)
Bosch = £30.68 (+ £2.65 P&P)

I normally order mine along with someone elses (family or friends) so we spilt the P&P.

Hope that helps :)

what is the difference of the bosch ones beside the price? and are they any good, £17 for a pair is pretty cheap, and do you know how much better the champion / bosch ones are, i only ask as i might need to change mine soon there starting to rub a bit

I'm afraid I've only ever bought Bosch ones so couldn't comment on the others.

Anyone ever bought Champion ones before? If so any good?

My local dealer also wanted £40 a pair - just got back from Euro Car Parts, a pair of BOSCH cost me £32 so I'm quite happy with that - I can confirm they are very good too!

I asked the dealer who the manufacturer was of their wipers, and he told me he's almost certain their BOSCH

Yeah, the dealers will probably be either bosch or valeo :)

I too went to get some from Halfords and they didn't have them. Got them from my Local TPS in the end for about £18 each I think. They have the dealer part numbers on them but say made in germany on them so guess they're Bosch.

Just ordered the Bosch 'Triple Pack' for my motor (two front blades and one rear) from autobulbsdirect - £34.20 delivered. Can't say too much fairer than that :D
