Morning all!

Where's the cheapest place to buy genuine mk2 wiper blades?

My closest SEAT dealership they're £28 EACH!

Cheers! :)

I get mine from Euro Car Parts, Valeo Silencio (VM420) wipers and always use a discount code.

They're on offer £28.37 a pair.

Thanks Daniel. Are they multi-clip fit that I need, do you know?

I've read great reviews on Bosch wipers. What are the Valeo like?

I'm not sure on the clips if honest, but if you stick your reg in ECP they will come up with the correct ones.

Bosch ones have had poor reviews from members on here and people tend to sway to Valeo. The Valeo ones are great, no smears, streaks and very quiet, hence the name lol.

I believe genuine OEM's are Valeo's aren't they?

I bought Valeo Silencio wipers from EuroCarParts and fitted them to my MK2 yesterday, they are a straight fit and not a multi clip fit. These are very quiet and work well. Cheers

Fit a set if these back in June and what with all the recent weather I can tell you I can't tell the diff between these and boschs I've used before. I grabbed a pair in Ecp 50pc off period and am a happy bunny.

I paid £22 for the Bosch twin set for the Leon at wiperblades.co.uk, the Valeo ones were slightly more. Only £2.70 delivery too!

Also their customer service is excellent. Bought a set year before last, one wiper streaked straight away. I sent them an email and they sent out a replacement straight away!

Can't say fairer than that can you!?

+ For Wiperblades.co.uk I've used them many times in the past.

Although Euro Car Parts were slightly cheaper last time.

I'm running Bosch with no issues at all :)

Thanks all! I've gone for the Valeo Silencio VM420 blades. Hopefully they'll be nice and quiet, unlike my current ones which make me want to throw them off a tall building!

Cheers! :)

Resurrecting an old post here, but I've had the Valeo blades for about 26 months now and they're defintely ready to be changed. They don't have lines in them but they leave the windscreen blurry on the way back up.
Time for new ones; I think I'll go for the same again as I was impressed.!
