seeing as the fabia wiper is from a fabia :)doh:) then you'll be able to source that from the fabia maker - Skoda ;) Price is around £18 ish

Aero wipers from a mk4 golf retail at about £70 for the arms and the wipers. Again, a VW dealer would be able to get these, alternatively they appear on eBay occasionally or vagparts sell them.

Fabia rear is brilliant, miles better than the pile of garbage that is the original. Haven't got aeros, heard conflicting stories - some very good, some not so good...

i dunno who told you aero wipers were not so good - i mean ANYTHING is better than the original ones.
Search on the forums and find answers :)

Agreed tho - £70 is a lot...

we have aero fronts on the cars at work
they are ok, but not worth shelling out in initial £70 for them and then more when you replace them

not worth it IMHO

fabia rear is fantastic though, miles better than original

There was a cheaper way to do the aero wipers using some Renault Magane ones that fitted the OE arms, do a search, think they were made by Valeo (sp?) they were an upgrade offered for the Megane

May be worth some research

only thing with the Megane wipers was that a lot of Renault garages don't have a clue and supply the wrong parts or are not able to get them :(

Rudd meister, did you put back the 'S' badge back in or leave it empty? Just painted the outer rim and badge. Just your picture looks like you left it off.:help:

LOL well I painted it up and fitted it and then it.....erm....fell out somewhere on the M5 between Bristol and Gloucester (the layers of paint meant it didn;t fit back properly it needs some superglue etc to secure it in place) and after a while I prefered the look without the badge and left it out.

Don;t skimp on the lacquer coats because stone chips look awfull after a while, I bought a matt black touch up from halfrauds which covered my stone chips

If you don't want to spend all that money on the aero wipers what about the floppy wipers from Renault? Do a search for them and you'll find a part number for them somewhere.
