Wireless Android Auto?

[70 Plate- Cupra 290]

Iv got the 2020 Leon Cupra 290, I was wondering if it is possible to have android auto work wireless maybe through WIFI?
I do know there is a WIFI Tether option in the settings, was wondering what that was used for and maybe if it is possible but i didn't ever bother trying.

If you don't have it natively, I think the other way is to use a USB adapter like this

Ill have a play around with the WIFI func in the car no idea what thats for then tbh.

There is a thread in the MK4 forum on getting it to work wirelessly, if you have the 2020 model, it worked for me.
