Wiring directly to battery

Hi guys,

I'm looking for a guide on how to wire something directly to my battery.

I have a red and black wire with 'O' rings at the end. How and where do I attach these to my battery?

Any help/pics would be great!

red to + black to ---- and use a suitable fuse better still use a feed from the main fusebox and black to an earth point

Whereabouts in the main fusebox should I attach? There's a wee box on top of the battery with a few red and black wires coming out of it, can I just undo the bolts and put it on top of that?

Main fuse box is in the passenger side side panel just under the front heater

Whether you attach it to the battery, or one of the main fuses, include an 'inline' fuse, and remember that the fuse must match the size of wire. (You want the fuse to blow before the wire!)
