Wobbly Wing Mirror

My driver side wing mirror is starting to come loose where it joins the door. its happed since some one had a play with it one evening. Does any one know how to tighten it back up. I have found a guide for an older leon miroor where you remove the glass first. Is it the same method on the ibiza? Thaks for any help.

I believe all you need to do on these is fold the mirror up and the screws are visible like that. At a stretch you may need to remove the door card to get to the locking nut underneath it.

^ Just fold the mirror up, there's a small slit in the rubber seal, and there's a torx bolt behind it which will tighten it back up.

Can't remember what size torx you need, but you can do an initial bit of tightening of it using a key for a Passat if that helps determine what size you need.
