wont start.....again

Mine started fine again this morning so it is probably just the damp, new dizzy cap when i can be ar$ed.

My coil went while i was driving it, wouldnt start at all. I think there reasonably priced but i had to pay the AA a stupid amount for it [:@]

Do you know anyone local with an 8v? 2 second job to swap the coils over as a test.

i dont unfortunatly

dont particularly want to spend on a new part if it doesnt need one. does anyone know if its safe to take the dizzy cap off and try cranking the engine to see if the rotor arm moves?

or if the engine really needs tdc manually set?
