Basically, i have had my car up for sale for approx 2 months now and i am going travelling to australia for a yeara next sunday and have had no interest what so ever in my Ibiza!! [:@] :help:

I am wondering if I went to my local SEAT garage, would they be interested in buying it back from me?

Has anyone done this before? Do they do this? As im running out of options fast and need rid ASAP

don't think SEAT would buy without p/x...you would probably be better off visiting a used car dealership mate

Evenshalshaw buys cars for cash, most likely not much cash but may be worth a visit if there is one i your area and you are in need.

i have already checked with them, they offered me £5250 for my car about 6/8 weeks ago!! :wtf:

especially having made some mods...

she will be returned to standard if sold back to SEAT. all the mods i have done are simple mods that can be taken off and i have all the standard bits to put back on

Went to my local SEAT garage this afternoon to enquire, the sales manager bloke did say that they do buy back SEATs, just not mine!! any other model and he would of been interested. apparently, they are finding it hard to sell the Cupra around my way, but apparently they are having more luck up north. said i could try and speak to another SEAT garage see if they would be interested in it. Gonna sent out a mass email tomoro to them and see what they say

If your car is an 06plate Cupra with 34k miles, then there's one on Autotrader with less miles from a dealer for slightly less than you want for yours (mods aside of course). As he'll have about a grand in the car for profit that makes yours worth about a grand less than you're advertising it for.

There's even a 55 plate with less miles that's up for £5300.

I think if you want to sell it then you need to drop your price a grand and flog the mods on here.

£7500 is too much imho.

The car is modified, unless you can find someone off here who is after one (pre modified), I think you'll struggle to get £6000 for it.

http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1023219.htm (i know its cat D)

The car has to be spot on to command a premium if its modified.

I thought mine was mega mint when I sold it, but I still had to sell it for less than I wanted, (but still more than a standard Cupra).

I really think you need to drop down to at least £6500. I know its not what you want, but modified cars dont command a premium. In fact modifying cars is a mugs game... its just were a bunch of mugs. I would also be put off by the fact you've mentioned budget tyres on the car...

Is it advertised elsewhere??

Mine sold through Auto trader in the end, although I got alot of interest off Pistonheads and here.
