would vagcom actually work?

Posted on various other articles on this site but found this section so thought ad post a thread..I have a 61 plate 1.4 se copa ibiza. has automatic lights. has the coming home function but what i am after is the "going home" function. where you unlock the car and the fron beams come on.. i was told off a member vagcom may be able to be used but does anyone know?

it should be ok
you will have to look in the long coding section of the central electrics

dont have vagcom myself or no much about it mate.. would have take the motor to a vag specialist.

Bound to be someone near you that has it, there's a list on here of everyone that has it and where they are. I've helped plenty if guys out for no cost, a garage would charge you about 60-70 quid just to plug it in
