Wrong seat

Bugger, i can't beleve it that i have just bought a new tiger stripe Passenger seat when i need a drivers side seat, ffs ahh (- .
For some reason i looked at the picture and automatically thought drivers seat.
My right hand side part off the seat has collapsed (the bit where your right leg runs along.
Is there anyway off using the seat bottom and swap it over to the old drivers seat.

im guessing that you will have to dismantle the seat and use the foam/bolster and material and put it on yur exsisting base frame. the only war to really find out is get them side by side, turn them upside down and take a close look. was it that single seat on ebay that you got?

From my knowledge you can use the base foam. So you could restore the drivers seat and re-cover the passenger seat. Be happy! - IMO I think you've got a bargain considering the cost from SEAT for one of these new - even if they did have one.

FYI I bought it by mistake BUT honoured the sale as I intended to retro fit a full Tiger Stripe interior in my 8v I thought it would be a nice addition anyway and I could always recoupe some money buy selling the old seat it replaced. I'am shure even the passenger seat on most would look old now.

I hope you genuinely intend on collecting this as the decision to not buy a full tiger stripe interior was made by selling this and I stopped bidding on an auction for one as soon as this sold!

I am very happy about the seat, it's in fantastic condition, there can't be many if any of the Mk 2 seats in this condition.
