Lamin-x is a proper film that goes over the will make your head light beam yellow as well and is not road legal

flyeye is a alternative but does not look as good but is road legal and does not change the colour of your head light beam.

Are yellow headlights not legal? They use them in Europe n most of our car manufactuer UK spec is based on euro legislation.

I know they're the preferred colour for fog...and of lots of people who use them hassle free.

If in doubt. Email the dvla/vosa, its been done before and you get a definate answer you can use in court if you get in trouble.

Personally if your not dazzling others, and actually have two headlights unlike far too many people. Then it should be legit!

All the other stuff says not for road use etc.

Mcfunbot seems to be ok with it on his car. Me personally if its a mot failure just rip it off every 12 months. It'd defo better looking than the fly eyes.

It is better looking by far. And mot probs come more down to the teaster Rather than if its legal. My only moan is mskes your lights shine yellow which just looks crap and gives poorer view when driving at night. If it did not do I would of kept the stuff on and not got the flyeye

The law/Mot hand book within the UK states that front primary lighting must produce a White or Yellow light. There is no documentation about the colour of the actual lens.

Our Clear/SubtleTint/GunSmoke/OpticBlue light protection films all produce a legal natural light colour, and our Yellow produces a Yellow tinted light which is of course perfectly legal within the UK.

None of our light protection films change/adjust the beam pattern. Our GunSmoke light protection film can reduce light output in some cases.

From there site so it probs. Defo comes down to tester and personal prefence I like the look but hate yellow beemed headlight

Yellow tinted headlights are 100% legal.

I've recently been taken to court for having yellow tinted lights on my caddy van.
The judge took all of 2 mins to throw the case out as it is indeed legal to have White or yellow lights.
