Yellow steering wheel warning light

Trying to resolve a problem,
The yellow steering wheel icon on my mk2 cupra is always dimly lit even with key out of the ignition. Sometimes it flashes but not consistent and looks as though it's a bad connection somewhere.

I've cleaned the earth's and taken the cluster out and cleaned all connections with no difference.

Any ideas?

Take a look into user manual. There are a list of fault signs. If you cannot solve, it maybe better to contact with a dealer.
