At the minute ive got 20mm PI springs on R shocks untill i can get the money together for coilovers....

I got mine from www.venommotorsport.com

But ive looked and they seem pricey now too???? Have they gone up recently? Even for the mk1 golf they are more expensive, i definatly payed 400 delivered?? Which at the time was the same price as other places including awesome i think!

thought you might like it! ;)

They were on the car when I bought it a couple of years ago, but the guy bought them from Awesome ;) It was about a 60mm drop all round. Although the ICE install in the boot probably helped a little !!! :D

Andy

Hhmm this is the thing you see, i probably wont adjust the height once i get the car but i want the option there in case i do decide to. you know?

I want it slammed but i dont really want to spend over £400 for a kit, as i may have to get new mounts and fitting will round it up to at least £500?

Biggaz: your right it is a bit expensive. Basically FK have put their foot down and got quite irate about the prices that their kits were getting sold for. As retailers for their product, not just us but places like Venom included, have been told to put our prices up to a certain level and go no lower than a specified percentage of their RRP. This is the unfortunate reason why we cant do them as cheap as we used to. If any retailer is found to be advertising their coilover kits etc at a price lower than FK permit then they will no longer be supplied by FK.

there is obviously a nice % discount applied to these from rrp's on buy in.. and the vendors discretion as to what they're prepared to give away off this %.
No different to revo code being advertised at a price and dealers encouraged to not sell below, and the blind eye that gets turned there to.
Enforcing this price vs the law however.... is another kettle of fish.

Some great prices tho before FK got stroppy.

Wont they lose business by putting the prices up?

I was given a price for FK Silverline Xs including fitting of £545 and now i have been quoted about £750 including fitting

I know its not the place selling thems fault by the way
