All wrapped and you can also see the centre section too which ive also made,

One the studs snapped when tightening ffs, seems ok though, a smear of exhaust paste has worked well

Also fitted this as i had time,What an ass of a job fitting the TIP is, also, if anyone needs a picture of where the standard tip bolts, here it is as seen from underneath, its the round post just by the head of the jubilee clip and uses a 5mm allen head bolt

Overall it all went well, exhaust is still quiet as its using the stock rear box untill get round to making the rear section, has a bit more of a rasp to it, but not much else, but the overall feel of the engine has changed, it pulls harder from much lower and has also gone from 9psi to 11psi, and peaks at 13psi, so feels much perkier:D

And also this arrived today:whistle:, so it will be my next job before mapping.

Not really had a chance to put my foot down but can tell its more eager and revs a bit freer too, over all im happy with it.

Ive also been told my DV is the wrong way round, so if anyone picks up on that, good spot, but it has always been that way round so diddnt think anything of it

Heard the valve works both ways round so shouldn't be an issue. Mine ran both ways round but have just swapped it back.

Nice,, good work.
I'd read a lot that the original downpipe and car normally has to be cut off, looks like you're was intact, did it come out ways?(with a lift)

The stock cat came out quite eaisly, I removed the cat and mid section as one, came out with minimal fuss using a lift, but I have removed a cat before just using axle stands and that was also quite straight forward.

Fitted my downpipe the other day too, could've done with v bands as it would've been loads easier. All easily doable on axle stands though.

V-bands are well worth the extra money if you can, ill be using another for the rear section when I get round to doing it.

Mananged to put me foot down tonight, it goes quite well now, pulls alot harder at higher revs, when I got back I had a feel of the charge pipes, the hot side was slightly warm and the cold side was really cold, like ice cold, so its cooling very well, its still holding a steady 10psi, and the dump valve seems a bit better since swapping it round too.
