SEAT Leon Cupra 300 - Mystery Blue or Desire Red

Hi there,

I've just put in an order for a new SEAT Leon Cupra 300, really excited!

I've searched the forum and found a pictures thread but it's actually got very few pictures. There seem to be very few Desire Red photos in any case.

Does anybody in here have any of the above two colours, specifically the red? Trawled through Google and YouTube but wouldn't mind seeing some owner pictures rather than glossy photoshopped images so I can compare the two!

Desire Red is a lot different in real life I’ve found. Every photo I’ve seen online looks different. Quite difficult to capture.

Mystery blue so there’s one less Desire red on the road for me ..

They are both very attractive and beautiful color choices.

I personally went for the Mystery Blue and very pleased with it. Real head turner

Be aware that both or those colors are scratch magnets so to speak, every little scratch is noticeably visible.

I did a full body Xpel paint protection film so I could sleep better at night

I've not seen either colour in the flesh - the local dealer doesn't seem to have very much.

The red looks really lovely in photos and videos on YouTube, but then the occasional picture can look quite flat, and that's what worries me. The blue is also very rich, but a lot of people have said it is a lot darker in the flesh.

The 300 I test drove was Desire red. In reality it is darker than you might expect. It doesn’t have that “flat red” look of a 90’s Astra thankfully.

Here's mine. As mentioned previously it is slightly darker in the flesh, and metallic. I love mine (yes I'm biased and I like the colour red) and get some great comments. I like the fact that there aren't many on the road, in fact I haven't seen any.

Wow that's rather nice. Might enquire about this but not sure if the dealer will know anything about it - they didn't know anything about the cockpit.

Just swapped from red to blue!

You tempted by the orange if it's available then?
