Hi, I have been searching high and low but can not find this issue. I have the Leon Copa 1.2 Tsi. Lovely car. However got an issue with the Climatronic air con. It will not blow really cold air... I have had it re-gassed but made no difference. Have now noticed that one side blows out warm (20C) air and the other blows out air at around 12C. Have done the reset flaps by pressing A/C and Down vent. But this does not fix it. Have also tried for the so called secret menu but this does not appear to work. Anyone suggest my next step. Compressor works as I can hear it and make a whirring noise behind the central vents. Seat want to much money to look at it. And I would need to leave the car there. Anything else I can try?

Have you had a diagnostics scan done on the car? If not then I would do that next as it is possible there could be some fault codes stored that are related to your issue.

Thanks, how do I do the scan? Do I need to buy a fault code reader? Or can I get it done at any garage?

You need to get it done with a VAG specific scan tool and not just a generic OBD2 scanner.

Something like VCDS, OBDEleven, or Carista will do that. Where abouts are you based? You could try asking in the VAG-COM diagnostics section if there is anyone near you who might be able to help...

You can of course also go to a VAG specialist or a dealer to get a scan done but it will likely end up costing you upwards of £50 for a diagnostic session.
