Hey,

Been signed up on here for quite a while, but only just bought a seat!

I've always been into fords.. But fancied a change after growing up around seats with my mum and dad.

Anyways, I broke the fiesta I had.. as it had started to get a tad extreme for daily use, and bought an FR ibiza that had just been P/X'ed into work..

This is how the fiesta looked shortly before it was broken and everything sold!

So onto the ibiza..

Its black magic, with gloss black wheels..

Nothing has really changed so far, just little things here and there!
I shall put some more photo's of how it is now..

Also changed the side repeaters for smoked ones, but you can't really see them in the photos!

Got a few plans in the pipeline once I've been on holiday in oct, so should be a lot lower soon..
As it definately needs it!

Looking good matey, like the wheels :)
I want to do that with the front grill surround but i've tried to take it out with no success :(
Are you thinking of lowering it?? When i did mine it transforms it :) but i must admit the Fiesta handled alot better :(

Keep up the good work mate

It does need to go lower yeah, compared to the fiesta it feels like I'm getting in a moon buggy!
I need to save some money first really, as I think i'll get 20mm spacers for the rear at the same time.!

The grill sort of needed lifting and pulling at the same time, then it popped out!
Was much more straight forward than I was expecting to be honest..

Yeah it does feel like that  i might look into spacers as they just bolt straight on i think.
Might give the grill another go then :)
Also i'm thinking of changing my headlight bulbs for MTEC super white ones.

Cheers

Also i'm thinking of changing my headlight bulbs for MTEC super white ones.

I need to sort some form of uprated bulbs or HID's out, the lights are shocking at night!

nice car looks really good with the black badges and wheels although you need to either loose the ibiza badge or get a new one and spray it black.
what other plans you got other than suspension and spacers?
rear anti roll bar is a worthy invesment.

The Ibiza badge on the boot? I think I'm just going to take them off, never been a fan of chrome stuff!
I would like to get it re-maped at some point in the not too distant future, looking at taking it down to awesome gti!
Other than that I've been thinking of a mufflerectomy for now, with an LCR tip. Until I can afford something decent next year!

Been to a rolling road day with a local forum today..

Car made 163.4bhp and 302 lb/ft of torque!
So Looks like its been mapped before I bought it..

Certainly saves me some money!

It goes up a bit notchy at the start, can anyone shed any ideas on what this might be?

Also an update of a few changes I've made over the last two or three weeks..

The rear wiper has gone, and I've taken the Ibiza badge off too! Makes for a much cleaner rear in my opinion.
The center caps are now all black and I removed the red rimtape as I'd gone off it..

The fogs had been steaming up more and more as the weather has been getting worse, so took those out as I never use them anyway!

I replaced the standard headunit with a jvc unit I bought from a work mate, so I can have a sub in the boot!
Just a shame the blue bits aren't red!

And today I've fitted an open induction kit, purely to see if it makes any difference to the way the car drives, so we shall see how I get on with that!

Cheers for looking!

Looking good matey, they do look better without the Ibiza on the back.
I like the black center caps :)

Not sure the induction will do much probably just make it sound more like a diesel.

Thats a good torque figure on the dyno :)

Recently fitted a center sunvisor that I got through work..

IMG_1525.jpg

Also fitted some LED numberplate lights that were recommended on here, need to get a photo in the dark at some point!

I've bought some autoleads boost and oil temp gauges, and a twin pillar pod. Just need to get some cupra pillars from work and I'll get those fitted next weekend hopefully!

Update:

Spent the best part of today fitting and wiring up the two gauges I bought recently!

IMG_1532.jpg

The boost one hisses on boost, so I need to do the fix to stop this..

Also fitted a seat sport strut brace that I bought through work

9.jpg

Also had an LCR splitter to fit, but ran out of time.. So will do this next weekend!

They weren't to bad to wire up to be honest, just a pain running hoses and pipes about!

They're autometer gauges, so they were quite cheap.. came to about £100 with the price of pipes and the pillar mount, so not too bad really!
