FR Mirror doesn't fold in....

Hey Guys,

I'm having issues with my passenger mirror. As I put them in to close, it gets stuck once it's moved about 20 degrees. Sometimes it goes in, but very rarely. I have RAC Warranty (which is pretty naff) and Seat want £81 just to check it

Any advice?

Take the back off the mirror and give motor a squirt of WD40 and keep folding and unfolding them, that should do the trick, they do tend to stick a bit ;-)

It's a bit of a pain. I was told to use an old credit card but I managed to get through two cards. Lucky I don't really need them.

use a butter knife, best way i found to get the mirror cover off!

use two cables ties to pull the mirror out and then push the clips off the back of the mirror cover.

Used butter knife, worked a treat.

WD40 the mirror, I can confirm it works perfectly now! Hopefully it won't stop again, I just need to sort out my passenger window as the motor is playing up.
