Bought an aerokit bootspoiler (replica) middle of 2013

I put my own twist on the design by filling in the middle section to make one continuous curve (similar to the Cupra R boot spoiler on the facelift models)

Had it painted gloss black at my local sprayer

Fitted to the car

Colour coded the backside of the boot lid so the white doesn’t shine through under the gloss black spoiler

:D

Good job, car looks good, well done. That Shell station in your sig isn't the one near Sandton at the junction of South Rd and Rivonia is it?

Thanks everyone!

Yeah I must say the spoiler with the filled in middle section looks huge, thankfully have the R setup and the 19" wheels to keep the aggresive look. It does really suit the car in the flesh. I love that description of whale tale :) For me its about being that little bit different from the rest while keeping as OEM (replicas included for budget purposes) as possible.

kazand you must be an expat? Its not that particular shell, its one close to my place in the south of johannesburg. So jealous of your Cupra R, Seat were pulled out of SA before we got any facelift models with the wider colour range. Speed blue Cupra R would be in my garage now if they hadnt!

Thanks NWhitely, yeah they are RS4 reps with my modified Seat centre caps. I have always loved this style of wheel recently put these on to replace my 18" audi s-line wheels (also were 7 double spoke).

Hi, hubbly bubbly!
I like Your car and mods.
Was Your sun-roof OEM or made it custom? Do You have air condition?

no mate not an expat, worked out there a few years ago on the Gautrain project, at the main depot in Midrand. stayed in the Balalaika hotel on Maude Street. was over there for a year on and off, getting sunburnt and drinking Savannah Dry! Good memories of blasting round in a Yaris :D
