first unread post

Not sure if it only happens to me, but if i hover the cursor over a new topic i haven't read or looked at yet, i get "go to firts unread post in......." pop up. Not a problem, but when i click that link, i normally find i'm directed to post number 5, or page 2 if there are more than one page...
