grade

Hi all going to change the spark plugs this weekend, as will all my cars that run more than stock boost i stick a colder grade plug in. I'm reading on here that alot of people use NGK BKR7E plugs which are coppers. Used these all the time on the MR2 turbo but just want to double double...

wat oil grade do i need for my ibiza cupra ??? 5w 40 ??

Hi guys does any one know what grade of oil should be used in the boc/cupra 1.4 tsi, as thought I see somewhere it was 5/30 long life....? Cheers:confused:

Hi all, my 2002 Tolly V5 170 is dripping a bit of oil (sump looks fine, so I assume the drip is coming from the crankshaft oil seal as mentioned in the other thread linky to other thread). Assuming the car is indeed dripping oil from the crankshaft oil seal which would be a gearbox out job...

Decided that i would change the oil in the ibiza today, went to get the bits from Halfrauds, looked in their chart and it says 5w30. Looked on the shelf, and there was only one make, mobil (i think) which was around £44 for 4 litres :headhurt:. It also said to use fully sinthertic oil only...

As per title, has anyone any idea where I might get M10 x 70 1.5 12.9 grade bolts? I only need 3 - ATP manifold to turbo.

With all the engine oil topics popping up, and several people using different grades of oil, I thought a poll may be of use to those people who are trying to decide what to run. Aswell as voting, if you have the time why not list your rough turbo spec (K03, K03S, K04, GT2X, AM04, GT28RS...

And before anyone says anything, yes i have searched on the forums and i'm even more confused now! When i picked my Cupra R up in January the salesman on the handover said the engine took Castrol oil, he didn't tell which grade or if it was fully synthetic or not. I was assuming it would be...

Is it ok to change the oil from semi sinthetic to fully sinthetic? i take it you have to flush the system first with the new oil. cheers Ali
