I have a seat Leon mk2 1.6 tdi which has a couple of issues one is that it judders in 4th at 30 and judders 5th at 50 and also when I first start the car and turn the heater on I get a smell of exhaust fumes but once I start driving they disappear but when I come to a stop the smell comes back so any adv would be greatly appreciated thanks

Evening, 1.6tdi here, know its not everyone's driving style but just try keeping it in 3rd at 30, I find sometimes 30 in 4th seems to just be lugging the engine a bit, same with 5th, try changing at 60 instead of 50, sometimes does them well to be driven that little harder, as for the juddering, is that all the time or just during regen? Noticed mine does it sometimes during regen however thats only since egr and remap I had early last year

only had the car on the road a couple of weeks as when I first bought it it had no mot so a few repairs needed before road worthy but so far all of the time
regen nit sure what you mean
also any advice on fumes in cockpit
