6J steering wheel into 6L

Hi all.
I have an ‘06 Ibiza sport and have purchased an Ibiza 6J steering wheel to go into it.
I have done all the research I can but have found no exact answers.

i know that the 6J wheel fits 100%, but I’m not sure on the airbag. I want the airbag to work obviously, but would it be simple plug and play or would it need wiring in properly?

If you’ve done this swap before, let me know how it was and post photos if possible!

I know that the Air bag is a different connector mate, unsure how you would go about doing this

You can depin the plugs and join them to make it work. I have ever had to do it but have done similar things to a merc C63s steering wheel. There’s always that chance tho when you turn the key it’ll blow up in your face so best turn the ignition on from outside the car.
