Alhambra 2.0tdi intermittently not cranking

Hi,

I have recently purchased a 2006 2.0tdi Alhambra. The last few mornings I’ve turned the key all lights, glow plug etc on the dash but the engine won’t crank? Leave it a minute or so and it starts straight away?
could this be something to do with relay 109?
