Hola, fellow spanish car amigos....

Third time Seat driver, first time Cupra pilot. Checking out the net for nice little bits of info on improving my "dad-car", like VCDS settings and all sorts of shiny parts.

It didn't have the ACC, Keyless, DAB or Rear Parking Camera options: basically I got a cheap-basturd version because I was clueless and needed a car fast (never a good combo).


VCDS / OBDeleven mods:
- Fog lights flash with high-beams
- Rear lights on with DRL
- US Style rear blinker LED (orange turned off, red rear-lights blink)
- Enable green engineering screen
- Comfort blinker set to 4 cycles

Finished mods:
- Obligatory dynamic blinkers in the side mirrors
- Rear-view parking camera
- Do88 Intake elbow, hose, box cover
- K&N filter

Soon:
- New 19" alloys, those Y spoked cupra ones in black/silver. Waiting for tires to be switched next wednesday
- JM sport-cat downpipe
- Mod for OEM grille intake
- Stage2 tuning on ECU and DSG (400hp here we come!)

Next year:
- DAB+: antenna booster and wiring kit already sourced
- ACC/LaneAssist retrofit: Steering wheel stalks, 5A camera, selfdimming mirror, covers and wiring already sourced
- Dashcam front/rear
- Activate FullLink
- PolarFIS or something similar on the MIB.

Needed maintenance
- DSG + Haldex oil/filter (no clue when these were ever changed, so just to be safe)
- Engine oil (not sure what oil is in the engine or when it was replaced, service log is super vague with oil change service plans)
- replace front light-bundle level sensor
- Front discs starting to wear: ATE 340 discs and ATE Ceramic pads

Maintenance first, then mods. Even though no one wants to do that Important with these cars though. And the dahscams are a must as soon as possible too. What’s a Mod for OEM grille intake?

But, but, but... toys.

I will do the cams together with DAB, already had to gut the car for the boot camera, don't want to do it twice more.

That mod is taking the Dremel to that i take part under the hood, before the filter box.

Trying to get the dsg/haldex oil changed first week of december. Sensor wanna see if I can reach that myself without a lift/pit.
