A week or so back I noticed when sat in traffic that my Exeo TDI 143 was idling a bit strangely, I can only really describe it as a possible misfire as the rev count needle dipped for a fraction of a second, but then was fine again, car drove fine afterwards.
2 days ago I noticed the issue again, but also my fuel economy has dropped from a normal 52mpg on my daily commute to 42mpg. Just today cruising along at 70mph I was only seeing 40mpg.
I've had the bonnet up and when the engine is running there seems to be a bit of a wobble from the engine that coincides with the dip in revs.
Has anyone got any ideas what this could be, and how much it might be to fix? I'll be trying to get it into the garage later this week.
