Hi all, wondering if anyone could offer any advise on an issue I'm having with Leon TDI 170 08

Car had been driving fine, then accelerating under load lost power and engine light come on and glow plug light flashing (dpf light also on but that tends to come up from time to time and will usually clear quickly with a good run. This had come up day prior to fault happening and was still driving ok).

Had the codes read and showing P0299 turbo underboost short circuit to b+.

Checked over and found rod broken on inlet manifold. Replaced this and still same. Checked all hoses and unable to find any leaks, so presumed the actuator on the turbo may have gone. New turbo fitted and initially felt ok, engine light and glow plug light gone off, however again when accelerating at high revs lost power and engine fault on dash. Turned off and back on and initially cleared so thought I would take it steady and try to clear DPF. Took it for a run on motorway keeping it to around 2,500 rpm and was ok for around 30 mins (although dpf light still not clearing), but then lost power again and engine light/glow plug light flashing. Re-read the codes and p0299 turbo underboost short circuit restored, along with P2002 particulate trap bank 1 short circuit (first time this has posted). Now it wont reset and lights are back on as soon as car started.

EGR has been checked and wasn't too bad but removed and cleaned just to try. Really don't know where to go with it now, so any help would be appreciated!!!

They did fit a new actuator with the turbo and not re-use the old one right?

Recon turbos don't always come with a new one.
