Hi all! New member here introducing myself. I'm a pretty normal guy heading well into his 40s and looking for a practical family car to lug a wife and two children around without giving up on some style. So I'm currently on the lookout for a Leon FR and decided to join the forum to get to know a bit about them before I seal a deal.

Welcome. My last car was a 2018 Leon FR 150 and it was excellent. My only gripes were the manual box was a little clunky in 1st gear (gone for auto this time and it’s great) and the cup holders are rubbish! No problems with software though and no faults for just short of four years

Don't overlook the Leon Cupra, I had a 280 for near 8 years with no faults, and was perfect for wife and 2 grandkids. Also when the moment took me on trips alone I still had all the performance needed on country roads. I am on the wrong side of 60 so the complete car for someone not ready for pipe and slippers yet.;)
