Hello all, I need some assistance.
I have a 2008 seat Altea. It has the factory fitted stereo with Bluetooth connection for a phone.
The signal was pretty rubbish in the radio when I bought the car a couple of weeks ago.
I have looked on the forum prior to posting this.
I took the ariel base off, it looked all clean and wasn't seeing any of the corrosion I've seen on the forum.
I bought a new aerial base. Made no difference.
The radio diagnostic menu shows Ant1 Off.
So today I pulled the radio out and found someone has cut into the aerial wire and spliced it in.
The plug that goes into the back of the radio is removed and also the port on the back of the radio appears missing.
I've added some pictures.
Any ideas how I can fix this?
