Zipper marks on my steering wheel :(

Hello, 2 days ago I got my steering wheel marked with a zipper accidentally. Is there any way to smooth the area? It is at the bottom but it feels very edgy and annoying when I put my fingers there....

Any ideas? Just for once I drove for 5 minutes wearing my jacket and this happened....

the leather on the steering wheel is so soft, mine does it , i have treated the steering wheel wheel with leather cleaner , it helped , but don't polish it as it
can become too slippery. you can get a cover to fit over the steering wheel to protect it. or you can send the steering wheel away to get them to remove the marks.
