So my airfreshener dropped on the console overnight and i woke up to this, can anyone think of a solution instead of replacing the whole thing?

I know it wont be perfect, but a length of electricains heat shrink in black, slice it and force it over the damaged area end to end then use a heat gun or a hair dryer to shink it to fit.
