Hiya all!
Ive got a Leon FR mk4 with what i think are pretty ugly silver 17inch alloys. Ive found a set of Ibiza FR 2013 black alloys that are all the same dimensions (bar tyre width) and i think im going to do it.

ive been made aware that ill need to replace the tire pressure sensor from the factory alloys into these other ones… is this easy enough to do and can i just swap or will i need to buy a new one?

is it best i get a garage to fit them instead? Please help!! :)

Aren't Ibiza wheels 4-stud & Leon's 5-stud?

No tyre pressure sensors are fitted. A low pressure causes the wheel on thst side to rotate at a different rate to the other side & this is sensed by the ABS sensors.

The mk3 and later Ibiza’s wheels do have five bolt holes (not sure about the mk2 and mk1). However, the Ibiza’s bolt pattern (PCD) is different to the Leon’s (Ibiza‘s is 5x100 whereas the Leon’s is 5x112).

So a 2013 (mk4?) Ibiza’s alloys won’t fit a mk4 Leon as the bolt holes in the Ibiza’s wheels won’t line up with the bolt holes in the Leon’s wheel hub assemblies.
