I have a 8.5" infotainment version, without full link. My software version seems to be very old (1776), can I manually upload the 1969 firmware by the link above? Is that file for NAVI system only or for both version of the infotainment?

Thanks to all!

Could I do it manually or I need to go to a VAG service? They are very hard to reach for this points!
So the versions are the same for every infotainment systems?

Someone knows how to get into service mode with a 8,25 media system (not Navy)? I tried pressing the menu bottom (the first starting from left), but nothing happened!:(

Works only by holding menu button.

Show systeem version and image off the screen please

These are pics from my system. The button for have access to service mode is not the "menu button", but the "vehicle status" where the arrow indicates.
But as I enter in the update module, it doesn't find any files in my USB (already formatted in fat32 and containing MIB 1899 version for an upgrade from the actual 1776).

You have a different infotainment system in your car, I would not advise trying to update it with this file unless you have evidence it will work.

Thank for your interest! This is my software version 1776, it seems similar to Navi System!

Hi all, I'm thinking of upgrading from 1940 to 1969 over the weekend.

I've downloaded the update from this link, which is provided on this YouTube video.

Does the infotainment system verify the integrity of the upgrade firmware itself, or does anyone know of a checksum I can use to verify the downloaded firmware has not been modified or tampered with?

Never mind - I'll take @witek_77 's word on it :) https://www.seatcupra.net/forums/threads/1940-software-update-get-it-or-wait.473469/post-5046241

Hi, when I'm extracting the .rar archive, I get the message below. Has anyone else seen this?

Code:
....
Extracting main.mnf.cks OK
Extracting main.mnf_cks_S.sig OK
Extracting 1.969.0.mnf OK

Would you like to replace the existing file 1.969.0.mnf
