I have a problem with my Leon Cupra 2007. During a drive steering wheel controls & lights and also horn stopped working. Clearly the all contacts to steering wheel are down somewhere, excluding the airbag. It would be nice to get them back, I cant pass an inspection without the horn. Its been a month now, so its probably not coming back on its own..

I did a search, but mostly problems mentioned here have been fixed under warranty and there is no clear info what was done.

My plan was to read fault codes and check for blown fuses. But since its below -20 celcius outside, Im really not bothered to go out.

Does anyone have personal experience with a similar problem and what was done to fix it?

Thanks

There has been quite a few issues with the control unit built into the left hand set of buttons, few revisions but the latest type are currently awaiting stock.
